As many of you know, I have been modeling for a beauty campaign with Defiance Beauty over the past year. I truly believe in their mission of inclusivity in the beauty industry and creating high-performance makeup for all skin tones. Defiance recently launched a huge new advertising campaign in New York City to promote their latest products and collections. I was thrilled to learn they wanted to feature me on a Times Square billboard as part of this campaign. Times Square is iconic, seeing my face up there felt surreal.

When I first visited NYC and saw the billboard in person, I was completely shocked. It’s one thing to model for ads, but seeing myself 30 feet tall in the heart of the city took it to a whole new level. Scrolling through Instagram, I still can’t believe people are spotting and tagging me. 

Modeling for a brand like Defiance Beauty has been an amazing experience. I’m so grateful for their belief in me and this incredible opportunity. I knew I needed to document my genuine reaction, so I videotaped myself seeing the billboard for the first time. Uploading it to my Instagram reel was a way to share my excitement and gratitude with my followers.

The positive response I received encouraged me as I continue pursuing my dreams. Partnering with innovative brands like Defiance has helped elevate my career to new heights.
